Tucked away in the bylanes of Byculla and emerging from a space that was once a warehouse, Goyaa was known for its Asian fine dining, signature cocktails and jazz events.
As their Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager, I worked on their creatives for social media, event collaterals and packaging design for their bakery.
Although in South Mumbai, Byculla is a relatively quiet and untapped area, with Goyaa being one of the first few restaurants to set up there. Our objective was to create an effective push strategy to attract working professionals from neighbouring areas like Lower Parel, especially on weekdays, who could stop over post work to wind down.
On weekends, we wanted to promote Sunday brunch and pop-up events by involving the residents of the neighbourhood as well as adults in their mid-20s and 30s who would be up not only for cocktails in the afternoon but also hope to discover a new neighbourhood. For this purpose, we created a "Did You Know" series to highlight the undiscovered hotspots of Byculla. We used a combination of graphics and imagery for our event creatives, food and cocktail promotions and also shared recipes and process videos of preparation to involve the customers with everything that goes on behind the scene.
